I do know how to drag this stuff out don’t I? Due to technical difficulties (ie virgin cutting some wires in the wrong place) I wasn’t able to upload this last night. Its one of the clips of footage we shot the other night of the moon through the scope.
For future reference, the webcam needed to be inserted directly into the telescope without the 90 degree reflector or it didn’t like what it was seeing.
I should point out that that thats the moon moving, not the telescope; that giant rock doesn’t half shift when it needs to.
I will get bored of posting this stuff one day but not anytime soon. In the meantime i have ordered a new CCD webcam and an adapter which should help me to focus on objects requiring a lower lux value to see.
