Lets talk about death bayyybeee

Oh dear. I have been remiss haven’t I?

All that chat about three times a week and trying to keep my site high in the google charts seems have slipped a bit haven’t they? Ah well, I’m here to remedy that.

Somehow.

Hmmm. I don’t want to talk about work on a personal blog, nothing major happened at home today other than I had Linda McCartney veggie lasagna for tea and, other than a slightly itch back at the moment, I can’t really think of anything major happening right now.

Maybe I should talk about my current zombie period I’m having. It would seem that I have been bitten (metaphorically you understand) by a zombie bug in the last few months and its taken me hard (oo-er).

I’ve been playing Dead Awaken on the 360 (zombies do love shopping centers don’t they?), I downloaded the excellent demo of Left 4 Dead 2 last night (running zombies may be a natural evolution but climbing ones as well?), I’m reading Max Brooks World War Z (again), the marvel zombies/marvel apes special was in my hand a few days ago, I’ve been thinking of trying to sculpt a Z in Zbrush (can’t be that hard, doesn’t Zbrush have a ‘make it look cool’ button anyway) and to cap it all off I picked up a copy of ‘Recorded Attacks’ today. Max Brooks (the leading figure on zombie research) has released this collection of accounts detailing Z outbreaks back as far as 60,000BC and I have to admit after reading it I’m slightly disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, this is a well written collection but its short because its illustrated AKA a graphic novel. The artwork is top notch and the ideas are well thought out (the French legion story sticks to mind) but I’ve been left like one of the mindless shufflers in the story, hungry for more.

Back to work in the morning, that should quell my craving for mindless masses all shuffling in the same direction :p

  1. Mate thats FAB! I want one.

I can only recommend world war Z and recorded attacks. I don’t have the survival guide as its never struck me as that interesting but i may pick it up at some point.
