I’ve always had a weird sensation when moving from wacom pen to mouse but thats neither here nor there.

I have spent a merry evening trying to catch up with twitter and other stuff i have neglected for the last few days and heres another thing i’ve neglected…

I’m currently grinding through the tedium of masking out blades of grass for the foreground and I need to rerender the mushroom with lighting setup to match the photo. After I get through that lot its a case of sorting out the background before i get to the fun part of the caterpillar. I’ve thought about the best way to do him and i’m torn between trying to paint him in 2d or carry on with 3d as planned. I have a rough body blocked out in cinema 4d and will need to tweak a bit before zbrushing him but i’m enjoying 2d at the moment.
Speaking of cinema 4d, its my birthday in less than a month and my credit card is empty. I think it may be about time to upgrade to v11.5 before they announce v12.

After a some what rocky start I’ve done a few updates to the tutorial to get it working properly. Ignoring my bad spelhign, i’ve fixed an image which didn’t have a .jpg at the end which displayed fine locally as the mac didn’t pick up on it, tidied up the html and css a bit, added a new button for the return function (worried it isn’t big enough now tsk…) and finally sorted out the link from the tutorials page.
I’m happy that its up but still feel that massive sense of “should have done batter at chuching it for mishtakes” i’m famous for.

I also have a massive hatred for hand writing these tutorials and now understand why everyone does it via screen capture :)
